Welcome to CompressImg. These Terms of Service govern your use of our free online image compression tool. By accessing or using CompressImg, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our service.

1. Service Description

CompressImg is a free online tool that reduces JPG, PNG, and WebP file sizes. Images are sent over HTTPS through a Cloudflare Worker to TinyPNG for optimization. The Worker keeps no image copy; TinyPNG may temporarily store submitted content for up to 48 hours under its terms. Local Canvas re-encoding may then be used to meet a selected maximum size.

2. Free Service

CompressImg is provided free of charge, with no subscription or user account. The TinyPNG optimization stage is subject to a daily fair-use quota; a local browser fallback may remain available when that quota is reached.

3. No Guarantees or Warranties

CompressImg is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available or uninterrupted, that the compression results will meet your specific requirements, or that the service will be error-free.

4. User Responsibilities

When using CompressImg, you agree to use the service only for lawful purposes, not attempt to disrupt or interfere with the service, not use the service to process images you don't have rights to, keep backups of your original images, and verify that compressed images meet your requirements before use.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CompressImg and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service.

6. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue CompressImg at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
