How do I resize an image to exact pixels?
Drop your image in, type the width and height you need, and click Resize. With aspect-ratio lock enabled, changing one side automatically adjusts the other so the image never stretches. Turn the lock off to force exact dimensions.
Can I resize by percentage instead of pixels?
Yes. Switch to By percent and enter any scale from 1% to 500%, or use the 25/50/75% shortcuts. This is the quickest way to halve an image or scale it down for the web while keeping proportions.
Does resizing reduce image quality?
Downscaling (making an image smaller) keeps quality high because pixels are merged intelligently. Upscaling makes images larger, but detail cannot be invented, so very large upscales look soft. For sharp results, resize down or use dimensions close to the original.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Resizing runs entirely in your browser with the Canvas API. Your image is read locally, processed on your device, and offered as a download. Nothing is transmitted anywhere.
